The Leadership Center

The Leadership Center is a national model for academic leadershp studies programs.

The Leadership Center at Morehouse College, an academic center devoted to the study and practice of ethical leadership, is training a new generation of leaders to address pressing contemporary ethical and social concerns, especially those affecting African American life and culture.

Distinctive in its capacity to provide leadership education, research and training, the Leadership Center offers students rich and diverse experiences from lectures, skills training, and discussions with world-class leaders, to mentoring, internships and travel opportunities.

Education Programs

Education programs reflect leadership as an interdisciplinary area of study. Programs range from the Leadership Studies minor for undergraduate students and international travel and study, to public lectures and forums where national and international scholars and leaders share their insights on ethical leadership.

Research Programs

Research programs involve faculty, students and scholars-in-residence in data collection, analysis and publishing. Programs expose students to advanced research techniques, increase the volume and availability of leadership-studies material, and support development of ethical leadership training.

Training Programs

Training programs provide consultation and training in the Ethical Leadership Model™. Activities include everything from rituals and workshops to community development projects and intensive experiential strategies. Programs are designed to help developing leaders—including student leaders, public officials and heads of business, religious and educational institutions—learn the strategies and implications of ethical decision-making.
